Current projects include
- Postharvest physiology of horticultural products, with specific interest on metabolism and action of ethylene in flowers and ornamental plants.
- Breeding and physiology of senescence in ornamental plants of Capsicum.
- Metabolism of carbohydrates in tubers (potato, arracacha, sugarbeet).
- Effects of postharvest stresses on shelf life of vegetables.
